Through live resume and reel reviews, the session provides a clear, real-world look at what industry professionals are looking for, which helps demystify expectations for those new to computer graphics or switching careers within the industry.

Attendees will engage with a panel of professionals in an an interactive format also encourages questions from the audience and creates an open and inclusive environment for attendees to gain practical career insights, and discover further involvement with ACM SIGGRAPH programs and volunteer opportunities. Any level of SIGGRAPH Attendee Registration can attend.

As a Creative Director, Educator, Graphic Designer, Digital Marketer, Volunteer, and Entrepreneur, Josh has developed a broad range of expertise in the marketing industry. With a focus on creating a positive impact for businesses of all sizes, Josh has worked with startups and established enterprises alike to execute successful marketing initiatives. Since 2008, he has volunteered at SIGGRAPH as a Student Volunteer, Team Leader, Professional Reel Reviewer, and Sub-Committee Member.

Josh is the CEO & Founder of Naaman Creative. Leveraging his professional networks and experience in design, production, and branding, him and his team help clients achieve their goals by crafting high-end websites, branding, design and podcast production, effectively executing digital and print marketing campaigns. In 2023, Josh started a professional leadership networking group called Sun Leaders. He is highly involved in the business community and working with clients and partners all over the world. Listed to his podcast, The Naaman Creative Show, to learn more and meet interesting and successful people he has met along the way.

Janelle Van Sloun is a designer at MWP Recreation in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she specializes in creating playground environments using a blend of CAD, Lumion, and Photoshop to bring concepts to life through detailed 3D visualization.

She has been an active volunteer with SIGGRAPH since 2005, contributing to the organization in various capacities over the years. Prior to her current role as Marketing and Social Media Coordinator for the SIGGRAPH ECDC, Janelle served on the Lifelong Learning Committee (2022–2023) and has also been involved with the Electronic Theater, the XSV program, and the Student Volunteer Program. Her long-standing commitment reflects both her passion for the SIGGRAPH community and her dedication to advancing creative and educational initiatives within the field.
